The Lost Swan Memory
Shines Bright
*
Glowing Wings
upon the Watery Light
The Moon Spilled open
a spell of Light
Onto the water's body that night
The swans sang and spoke in the dark
Greeted me with my lost
h e a r t
*
They had been carrying it safely
upon the shining waters
Adorned in the white magic of a Winged-Mother
I found my spirit
that night upon the earth
The Lost Swan
had
finally
returned

* I once encountered a Beautiful Swan Family
in a Secret Space
A time when I was walking alone
in the dark
L o s t in my thoughts
I came upon this most magnficent scene
I realized when I saw this Family of Winged Souls
That I was indeed the Lost Swan
and I felt
at h o m e
within
and Found peacefulness
*
It was then that
I felt a Magic Whisper rush through my being
and was asked to Carry the Swan Feathers
so I picked them up
and thanked the magic creatures for such a beautiful Offering

Beautiful artsy pictures!...Christine
Hi Kiki: Your posts never cease to amaze me. You are a wonderful photographer. Thank you so much for being a part of TT. I know everyone enjoys looking at your blog so much. Have a wonderful week. Blessings to you, Martha
Oh, so gorgeous, Kiki! I love the colors in this post - they are so soothing and elegant. And, of course, fitting as a tribute to the glorious swan. (Although once as a kid, a swan bit my toes, which I did not find enchanting at all!). In my hometown in Germany, there is a black swan on the lake who fell in love with a swan-shaped paddle boat. It's quite a love story! (http://www.spiegel.de/international/0,1518,447694,00.html)

Who but Ms Kiki could turn a very sweet simple teacup, a daisy and a feather and turn it into a magical photographic masterpiece!
On one I know of :-)

Wonderful, white, bright and light as a feather of a Magical Swan.
My most happy memories of swans are some that used to hang out in Old Lyme Connecticut on the beach in front of my Uncles's Cottage. It was weard, because this was salt water....but they would come every so often and once there was a black swan with them. There was something so magical about this and they allowed us to feed them.
What pretty photographs. Feathers are always lovely. Dropping by from White Wednesday; Tailored Kitchen.

I love the Swan story-and I think I know the feeling that you felt...I have been there too once or twice. It seems that when we are feeling most lost that we find the strength, the magic, and the soul-inspiring things to help us carry on and see things in a new light~
Peace & blessings
Beautiful compositions. You are so good at that :)
