Hello dear friend....I, too, love hats....altho....I don't often wear them in AZ because it is so awfully hot most of the time. I have collected them for years and have them displayed around various parts of my home...as you have done with your wonderful photos.
You know, my grandfather wore hats and even tho I don't have one of his I have photos....and he looks so dapper and debonaire....ah takes one back to a gentler time!!

Thank you for giving me so many ideas about hats - thoughts that never crossed my mind before... Food for thought for sure!
I confess to not being much of a hat person. My hair is difficult enough to control at the best of times without messing it up with a hat!
Having said that, this weekend I bought a hair piece (not quite a hat I admit). It was a feathery creation to wear to a party. My son asked me why I had a dead bird on my head and my boyfriend laughed his socks off. I took it back to the shop :(
Good morning my friend...I adore hats! I was never brave enough, but now I am in my forties, I wear them with glee! I love them for dress-ups, or in winter you will find me in a floppy woolen beret or a little peaked number made of wool. In summer, I favour cowboy hats, or big floppy sunhats. By the way, I love the little orbs surrounding the hat in picture 5 - a trick of the light, or something else? And WrightStuff, I am sure you looked divine in your little headpiece (love those too!) Don't listen to what others say...

It most certainly is one of the hat times of year! Gloves and scarves too. And boots! I have learned to love hats, they are a gift as well and an enchanting item. Thank you for sharing your sacred perceptions!
Hi Kiki...ahhh hats, don't we just love to try them on in shops...Something about them that I can't resist doing it!!! Have a magical day...Dzintra♥x
Whenever I put on a hat, I feel like a different person altogether! It's again the time of year for accessories and I love them.
Thanks for sharing these images.
I too love hats. They always make me relax and not take myself so seriously. I wore a nordic knit hat today (really cold) with earflaps and it transported me to a bit of a more magical day- love this post!
Some day, I shall own hats....and I shall wear them : )
Thank you for your beautiful post about hats...
Hugs,
Terri
I never thought of hats in that way. I have a few whimsical ones and I do like them, but don;t wear them that often.

This is a great post - hats are wonderful though I don't wear them often, mostly I go for flowers ala Frida Kahlo. Ceremonial and decorative hats are fun to make; my mother made a hat with hand painted fabric, silk flowers and a plastic dinosaur, it's a little heavy but fun to wear!
Kiki, these are wonderful images. I'm definitely a hat kind of person. ~ Sarah
What a fun hat post! i loved all the images. you ae just too much fun!
I love the shot in front of the guitar and the one on the upholstered chair. Inspired photos!
What a beautiful post! You have provided all types of enchanting auras of hats. It was a pleasure to read and contemplate and drink in the gorgeousness. Theresa
Hats are great for bad hair days.
:)
AAHH..finally a few moments to drop in and see what goodness I could discover :-) I adore hats; I've just discovered these wonderful and adorable headbands with a feminine little flower on the side. Warm AND cute! Wished I could find a magic hat. Hope all is well with you; stay warm! S
Dear Victoria, I love hats too and for all the magical reasons you mentioned. I love the thought of becoming a different person with each hat I put on. Now that it's cold once again I'm so excited to hunt in my closet for my favorite hats. Thank you for the enchanting post and pictures.
