Those who know me..know that my camera sparks me..so do paintbrushes..microphones and guitars and pianos..and a closet full of canvas and paint conjure my soul to dance.
I love the Magic of Sunlight..my best spot for creating my photo series is in my dining room..the natural light is Spellbinding! It pulls me in everytime..
Sometimes I bring down the paintings I am working on into this sundazzled dining room..they become sunkissed and speak in new ways.

Below are some
"Unfinished" paintings....
...but that for me..
is the most exciting part.
new seeds are being born..
creativity is conjuring a spell..
There is something beginning
to surface,
I love when paintings are in
Transition.
*
they are still being weaved...
still Unveiling their essence..
They are still in a
Space of Becoming..
and that Powerful Space of
The Inbetween
is where the Magic happens.
What will they become?..how will they shift and change?
*
I think Beauty shines potently in this
Imperfect place.
and this inner-magic
is unveiling itself slowly..
And the painting is Awake and Alive....
They are journeying and arriving..
telling new tales of what is to come...
*
I love to follow the footprints of a painting
and see where they will take me!
Sometimes they even like to rest and go into
The Dreaming Place for awhile......
.and when they awake they let me know it is time to create!
The Lonely Wizard and the the sleeping Tree-Maiden...
Will he ever understand... that she will never awake again?

Poor sweet soul..it will be fun to see how this painting ends!
Perhaps I am wrong..and she will awaken!
Perhaps she isn't asleep at all! The Wizard may know something I dont know just yet!
The Faery Queen..
She is still Becoming..we will see where she takes me..
So far..I know she carries your Dream Star safely from the sky..
and anchors it down like a Seed..so that it will Grow, Bloom and Become!

Now..off to the studio..upstairs.....and another set of stairs..a long hike..to the top floor!

Once upon a time..."It was F o r e v e r"..that I didn't have space to create in..now I do..
You will find surroundings of old and bruised antique furniture, vintage figurines..and Magical Mirrors of course..a bit of drama with French fabrics draped over an old table..I love magical spaces..
The studio.. is quite bare..and doubles as a music studio...
Except for one Embellished Spot in this corner..the rest is open, empty and pretty much like a "blank canvas"..the paintings in the room become the color.
And the more space the better for me....
A Magic Mirror from my childhood home..
( Still magical)
A Parade of supplies...
I Love the "backs' of easels...
Black Espresso cups holding pastels and beads...and a magic ring
Open , free..spacious...
This room may be too plain for some..
but the paintings become
the colors and stories of the room
The Light pours into the emptiness..and fills the space
witht it's Essence, creating even more light

A very old antique chair in the corner.....in need of some love and attention will soon be restored!
A Love for all bruised and tattered antiques..
Old souls are magical aren't they?
Things to play with while the paint is drying...
crystals in every color..
I love putting supplies in the round trays
with pie shaped compartments..
Strands of beads to create jeweled treasures
Roses adorning crystal-beaded-treasures
More Magic..more seeds..more dreams awaiting..
The Portal of Creation is always wide awake!
