Oh, and worlds you DO create.
I've told you before how you inspire, how you open up your world and allow us in and how that gift spreads to, and through, us all. Today, you've reminded me of something very important. That transformation from the mundane to the enchanted. How it is within us alone. . . always. As I slog through the first drafts of a creative writing project larger than any I have ever attempted, I forget sometimes that my "rough draft voice" and my "final edit voice", while both being parts of me, are a lengthy process and require time to reach. An alchemy of elemental magic that is all around us and WANTS, I believe, to flow thru us.
Turning 100,000 words into something poetic is a process of the soul. One that I must find a rhythm within myself that allows me that access. Much like my favored books which I turn to again and again, coming to your page and dipping fingertips into the clear reflection of that enchantment is always restorative for me. Thank you again, as always, for sharing that with us all.
